Woodland Tales Picnic

The midsummer tea party is always the first thing to go on Mrs Rabbit's calendar. She loved to put on a most beautiful spread which took days of preparation, with wobbly jellies, baskets of freshly picked strawberries, copious bottles of pink lemonade and more cakes to go around than could possibly be eaten. Her tea party was legendary and all the garden creatures excitedly came together every year to enjoy this special occasion, held in a small grassy clearing, deep within the hollyhocks

Sue Scullard has always illustrated books, and after an MA at the Royal College of Art, Sue had a successful career as an illustrator. Inspirations come from Victorian watercolours and wood engravings. Sue has worked with Dunoon since 1983
