Shipping Information

Effective October 2025

Shipping includes tracking and drop-off without signature. Shipping fees include packaging and postage costs. Your package dispatches at your own risk, but we take special care to protect fragile objects.

Original shipping is non-refundable.

Special shipping requests

Please leave a note in the comment section during checkout if you wish to expedite your delivery or have other requests. We will contact you with alternate shipping options. 

Deliveries

Deliveries in London, Ontario are free of charge for all orders over $30. Please note that we cannot enter apartment buildings to drop off packages at the door. We are happy to call you and wait for you to get the package after we've left it in your lobby. 

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint, we now have two delivery days: Wednesdays and Saturdays. Orders for delivery placed by Monday at 6 pm will be processed in time for delivery on Wednesday. Orders placed by Thursday at 6 pm will be processed for delivery on Saturday. After 6 pm, the next delivery day applies. Special deliveries can be arranged for an extra charge.

Turn around time

Our turnaround time is 24-72 hours from when you place the order until it goes out the door. We prepare all teas when your order is received - not days or weeks in advance.

 

International shipping

The Tea Haus is located in London, Ontario, CANADA. We will gladly ship to any location, but please note that shipping to Europe will take significantly longer (8-10 weeks by regular mail).

US and international orders ship with the most economical method available (to the US, usually by airmail). If the tracking information is required, additional charges may apply.

US - we are currently not shipping to the US due to the reversal of the de minimis tariff exemption

 

Undeliverable and Returned packages

If the package is shipped back to our company due to an incorrect/incomplete entry of your shipping address or an unclaimed package, we will charge you the cost for the return shipping (see table above). Please note that original shipping charges are non-refundable.

Re-shipping

If the wrong address was provided on the original order, and as a result, the package is returned to The Tea Haus, we will contact you for your correct mailing information.

If you wish to re-ship the order, shipping charges will incur - even if the order initially qualified for free shipping.

If you wish to cancel the order instead of re-shipment, we will issue a full refund minus all shipping (original shipping and return shipping).

 

Lost package

If, for whatever reason, you don't receive your package, please contact us within 20 days of the shipment date so that we can open an investigation. In case of a lost package where we are refunded for the value of the package, we will ship out a replacement. Please note that investigation time varies (approximately 5-60 business days) and is handled by the courier company. If you contact us later than the stated 20 days, we are not liable for the undeliverable package, and the customer is liable for the product cost and shipment.
